The process of my thoughts about my art has evolved since the beginning of my works and midterm. Originally i was making memorial art in honor of the passing of my friend. But as I reflected on my art I started to think about the feelings that come along with losing a loved one. A long with grieving comes this feeling of being left behind and loneliness which is what i wanted to portray in my pieces. I chose to portray this in the form of scenes that convey this feeling. I used watercolor for the paintings you see with color and ink on my drawings.
